Handwork Thursday -- Wool Insoles

Quick and easy handwork creates warm and cozy comfort for Ella and her rain boots. Being kind to others is important but no more important than being kind to yourself. It takes practice and I like practicing with Ella.
It feels good to make something special for yourself. Which puts me on the spot....I haven't handmade myself anything in awhile. I am thinking a felted Autumn fairy....

Namaste.

  1. Very smart!
And Nicole, it has been far too long since I have been here. She is so beautifully grown up since I last saw photos! I wish they didn't do that quite so quickly!

  5. I so love reading your blog, but I find myself sighing with envious longing for just what you create with your girls. A tranquil space, a place of softness and slow moving time where simple things are achieved and valued. I always feel I've had a few moments of that when I come here.

  6. Loved visiting you the other day Nicola.

Wow - thanks Kimmy. I took a peek at your chronicles of a lovely life -- that it is.

Christina - ahhh, yes you feel it too. :)

    Autumn - we've been in the lower 50's , haven't lite a bonfire yet.

Emmaline, your words touch me so.

Thank you for the love and keep chronicling your beautiful lives.

I am going to have to wait until we all feel better from stomach bug.

    Namaste!
