Our Advent

Our prettiest shell...

Cheerios on a string for the birds- handmade by Vivian...

Our energized crystals, seashells and pine cones....

A rose bud from our wintry garden -- stretching for the sun....

Our beeswax candle which we lit this past Friday while we enjoyed pumpkin pie as our afternoon snack.

This is our Advent. No rules just pure enjoyment. I  loved what Rebecca from Bending Birches had to say about Advent. Click here to read.

This is the second year we have celebrated Advent as a family. Advent to me is a celebration of Light, Harmony, Magic of Nature and Love for Humankind.

Namaste!

  1. Love the stringing of the cheerios. May need to do that with Ella! Kerri

  2. Beautiful Nicole. We have the very same shell in our home, it is the favorite and is played with often.

I read Rebecca's post the other day, resonated a lot with me.

  5. There is something about this post that so brings the magic of the season together. I think that your simplicity here, your complete turn to nature and to the simple reasons that the season is so beautiful. These resonated with me very much. Thank you for sharing.
