Discovering Waldorf

I was kindly asked to be a guest writer for the series Discovering Waldorf over at Donni's blog The Magic Onions. Thank you Donni for giving me this opportunity to share a little bit about how my family discovered the magic of living a Waldorf lifestyle.

Namaste!

  2. Nicole, what an inspiring read, it really resonated with me. Although we live a life in which we (for the most part) avoid consumerism, I still struggle to truly 'live in the moment'. It is something however that I strive to achieve. Can I ask which books you have found particularly inspiring? Always on the look out for further motivation.

  3. Nicole you are such a gem! I loved getting to know more about your journey. I consider it such a blessing that we have become blog friends. Your post on The Magic Onion was very inspiring. Something I will come back to time and time again to reread.

  4. loved the interview. its so inspiring to see other folks living the less is more life, and truly enjoying it-which is the big part.

also, as someone who just moved cross country from a big ol' house to an apartment, its nice to see someone making it all work in the "attached living" realm.

  5. What a beautiful and inspiring post you wrote for The Magic Onions. I love to hear about other Mothers journeys who "get it".
I was wondering how you deal with I guess you would call it the outside world? Other family members, friends and just other people and families you come in contact with. When your children live such a calm, peaceful and gentle life how do you deal with them encountering other children who have not been raised with the same values etc?
I find I am constantly encountering challenges with my daughter in social environments with "mainstream" children.

  7. The more you live without, the more you live within. I like that one. Very nice post.
